British R&B artist, Lashana La Trice, taps back into her Jamaican roots with her latest single, “I Choose You.” This song serves as the first single off of her upcoming project, Everything Is Changing. This project depicts all the personal obstacles and life changes she has experienced over the last year.
This track has a bouncy Drake-esque feel that you can hear alongside the influence of her Jamaican roots. Her vocals stick out, as she opens up by singing, “All of the times I hated you, you always wanted more, time after time I prayed for you, I hope you don’t fall.” Her lyricism is very impressive, and we feel this is a great track for reminiscing on some of the best times of your life with that special someone.
