There’s no subtly sneaking up on you with a rather heavy song from Diamond Weapon called
“Revenge Is Not a Dish, It’s a Concept.” Guitars are angry right from the outset, which is appropriate given the very dark subject matter of the song. There’s no way to sugarcoat a song that is about the narrator discovering his daughter’s slain body and seeking out her killer, but if that type of subject matter—married to some truly raucous sounds—appeals to you, then go for it. When justice fails, the narrator then screams he will take matters into his own hands, screaming as “Revenge” moves into its final seconds.
I did mention this is dark, right?
