Whether you were to refer to the Greek philosopher Aristotle or to the 22-year-old Hip-Hop artist of the same name from Accokeek, MD, you would be referring to an individual whose ideology is backed by a wide-ranging knowledge base and supreme intent. Aristotle began pursuing a professional music career while still a teenager and from those experiences developed Prosperity Entertainment, which now works with a handful of local producers and in-house beatmakers, representing artists like Renz0, Whyte Boi, and E. Willis.
“Jodeci,” available now on Spotify and other major platforms, is the lead single and opening track from Aristotle’s forthcoming mixtape “From Tha Westside Wit Luv 2.” It introduces some hard-hitting concepts from the moment you press play. “The song is essentially about having ties with people while being in the streets and those same people cooperate with police. Betrayal, having a strong dislike for it and recognizing that I can only trust myself,” says Aristotle.
“Jodeci” joins “Killin Em” and “Fly Right” available as a special exclusive early download for fans who pre-order the digital offering via Bandcamp. The entire album will be available on June 22, 2021, and on all major platforms later this year.
