Michael Marguet has himself and is happy! The innovative mind behind BOARDWALK releases the psychedelic and swirling “I Got Myself” before his electrifying debut six-song EP, “Tsunami Orange” arrives in late July, along with a music video for “I Got Myself.”
The LA indie artist writes, records, and produces all of his music himself in his home. How impressive is that? After all, that is where he has full creative freedom – he just has himself. Topics close to his heart, such as love, self-actualization, and exploration are what this EP is all about. After a life-threatening battle with cancer, Michael dove to pursue his passion for art and music.
“It really puts things in perspective… During chemo, I told myself that I had a responsibility to send out as much love and positive energy into the universe as I could when I finally made it out. It’s what I felt I was put here to do, and the way in which I do it best is through music. I just want everyone to dance!” His modern-electro track filled with lyrics about independence, “I Got Myself” makes the listeners feel free and groovy. It is the perfect song to dance to alone in the house like nobody’s watching.
