Texas native singer, songwriter, musician, and composer Christopher Cross is hitting The Birchmere this week! Is that name ringing a bell? It really should – this mastermind has won five Grammy Awards, including – for the first time in Grammy history – the “Big Four” most prestigious awards. He received Record of the Year, Album of the Year, and Song of the Year for his single “Sailing”, along with Best New Artist. Additionally, he has collected an Oscar, a Golden Globe, an Emmy nomination, and five Top 10 singles. And if those high accolades weren’t quite enough to convince you to check out this concert, the over 10 million albums he’s sold will speak for him. His creativity seems like a flame that will never go out, only growing hotter and spreading to new generations as they discover his music.
