Richmond-based rapper Tennishu’s music stands out among the crowd, utilizing orchestral arrangements and instruments to complement his lyrics, a phenomenon once again mastered in his latest release, “Just Enough.”
Tennishu has been producing, recording, and performing his own music for the last decade. He is a lyricist and rapper, as well as skilled at both the trumpet and saxophone, and has self-released a number of recordings. He also plays full-time as a member of the “progressive powerhouse,” Butcher Brown.
“Just Enough” features strong, orchestral sounds. The introduction offers nuance to the track, perfectly pairing alongside the powerful vocals.
