Powerful GRAMMY-award winners and global superstars Megan Thee Stallion and Dua Lipa team up for the certified Hot Girl Anthem for Women’s History Month, “Sweetest Pie.” This liberating track marks their first single of 2022 and the first single off of Megan Thee Stallion’s forthcoming album. “Sweetest Pie” is a super delicious and sexy track that celebrates women being the prize, whatever that means to them.
Directed by Dave Meyers and produced by Freenjoy, this visually interesting music video brought Megan Thee Stallion’s concept to life with visual effects by UPP. It takes you on a journey to a sexual fantasy jungle land. Dua Lipa is the queen of spiders with a spider crawling under her skin on her face as we enter a spider shaped treehouse with women’s legs as the mouth. Megan even changes her lipstick color to black just by licking her lips! Megan Thee Stallion keeps doing her iconic Hot Girl Shit by dancing and enchanting men eating cake and then we find them in a boiling cauldron. Dua Lipa chills the audience by moving like a spider and taking a slice of the sweetest pie out of her face. In my opinion, the greatest part is when the power duo are tied to a burning stake without a care in the world and they taunt the crowd. Middle fingers shoot out of Megan’s eyes and then they burn the place down with Megan and Dua hanging out in the remains. This masterpiece ends with Megan dancing in the air under a snake statue and then we go back to the spider treehouse closing. I cannot wait to dance along to this song with my friends this summer without a care in the world!
