The latest single from Electro Pop, Adult Contemporary recording artist Rachel Cousins, “For Myself,” is a groovy song about living your daily truth without the need for a significant other. Co-written with producer Daniel Adams and Toronto-based recording artist JEM, and inspired by early 2000’s pop and R&B, “For Myself” is an empowering track focusing on the importance of self love and the satisfaction that comes from realizing your self worth without input from others.

Based in Newfoundland, Canada, Rachel Cousins has been making a name for herself since debut pop single “Let Go” from her award winning 2019 self-titled EP landed on a number of shows fans may be familiar with such as SyFy’s “Wynonna Earp,” CBC Gem’s “Hudson,” and made for TV movie “The Art of Falling In Love.” The lead track from that EP, “Man of Stone,” inspired by a relationship gone toxic, was co-written by Jenson Vaughn with Lauren Eddy of the band Saint Scarlet, Blair Lane and Aaron Hickey of the Music NL nominated Young Manics.
