Norwegian pop-rock band Point has released their new single “Point.” This is the band’s third release of 2022, following the singles “The Fire” and “Echo.”
Point utilizes their musical talent to take a stand and spread awareness about mental health. Their band logo, the crane bird “ICON,” is an illustrated embodiment of the band’s mission: personal growth. They hope it can be a beacon that inspires people to love themselves and stand up for their values and beliefs.
“I’m Here” is an incredible soft-rock anthem about picking up your friends when they’re down. Alongside the building acoustic guitar and soothing vocals, the lyrics spread a message of comfort and light in the darkness of current events.
The band wrote the song during the COVID-19 pandemic in lockdown, and they realized the importance of being there for each other and talking through all the emotions they felt; by talking about their problems, they automatically felt less significant.
