Nico Muños, otherwise known as Boy Pablo, has premiered the music video for his new single, “Be Mine.” The video release precedes the start of a U.S. tour, starting on Saturday, July 23 at Webster Hall in New York.
“Be Mine” is accompanied by its fun, summer-inspired music video; the single’s through-line reggae beat is complemented with the visuals of Muños playing the song on the beach with his band.
“I’ve been obsessed with cumbia music for a while now so it became natural for me to try writing something inspired by it,” says Nico of the track. “It was one of those songs I didn’t expect to write, it just appeared. It’s basically a cheeky way to approach a love interest that you know has a slight interest in you. I feel like it’s a very Latino romantic thing to do.”
Boy Pablo’s tour was scheduled take him to the 9:30 Club with mazie in Washington, DC on July 27, however, the show has been postponed. At the time publishing a new date has not been set.
