Los Angeles based indie R&B musician and producer, Kevin George, has got money to burn with his new single “CASH IN THE CLUB” featuring Foxx for a guest verse. Along with a new music video that matches the more-is-more attitude, this a duo clearly ready for a night at the strip club.
The video opens with Foxx making it rain in reverse as a scattered cloud of money quicky snap into Kevin’s hand. A sample of the famous line from Home Alone where Catherine O’Hara screams “KEVIN!” rings out just before the beat drops, and from there nights activities dials up to 11. Through various shots of women twerking, pole dancing, and stripping, we get brief snapshots of what’s in store. As dollar bills shower the various dancers, you can feel the commitment to excess that Kevin is after.
“So much money I can’t even count” Kevin raps in the chorus as the high-octane sex-capades charge forward unapologetically. Inhibitions are lowered and sensuality comes to the forefront. “So much cash I’m finna throw it out / All this ass in the club go out/ All this cash in the club”. There’s nothing but a raunchy good time to be had with the party-heavy mix of club beats, sex on full display both visually and lyrically, and drinks that never seem to stop.

Charlie Maybee is a dancer, musician, educator, and writer based in Charleston, South Carolina who currently teaches with the Dance Program at the College of Charleston. His primary work as an artist is with his performing collective, Polymath Performance Project, through which he makes interdisciplinary performance art that centers tap dance as the primary medium of expression and research. He also currently plays rhythm guitar for the Charleston-based punk band, Anergy, and releases music as a solo artist under the name Nox Eterna.
