Washington DC’s rising stars Strutman Lane are joining the Alchemical team this week to celebrate the release of their newest EP Bedroom Sessions! Strutman Lane came together at the University of Maryland through a jazz program, where their mutual love of funk and pop came together to breathe sensuality into new, original music. In 2021 they released their debut single, “I Want You To Know” and listeners immediately began gravitating toward the group’s hooky rhythms and warm vocals following in the tradition of funk/pop artists like Lawrence, Vulfpeck, and Couch.
