Inspired by 90s alternative rock, indie artist Adam RC’s latest release “Novocaine” is raw and powerful.
A true DIY artist, Adam Richard Connito does it all: writing, performing, mixing, mastering, engineering, and creating visuals all from his spare bedroom in Boston, Massachusetts. His music “blends boom bap drum programming with pop guitar rhythm, rock-n-roll piano with cinematic strings”, creating a musical blend that is smooth yet creative.
“But it’s all a means to an end: Connito is a songwriter and storyteller at heart.” ‘Novocaine’ uses lyrical repetition to express “pandemic-era monotony and numbness as a coping mechanism”. The cinematic strings make the track stand out amidst the live and programmed instruments.
