While we wait anxiously for Ben DeHan’s new EP, “New Nostalgia,” to drop on July 23, the artist has offered up a peek at his first single from the EP, “The Faded Ones.” The uptempo, poppy tune blends DeHan’s optimistic vocal stylings with some unique electronic keyboard sounds.
The overall effect sounds as if some of those late-’90s bands somehow produced an echo
through time that DeHan put his own unique spin on—and then sent it back to the turn of
millennium, making the whole affair sound paradoxically both retro and ahead of its time.
It’s going to be great to see what he has in store for “New Nostalgia” this summer!
