A band which needs no introduction – ska and reggae aficionados Bumpin Uglies – hail right from our DMV backyard in Annapolis, Maryland. Starting their incredibly successful career in 2008, Bumpin Uglies is fronted by Brandon Hardesty, and while their storied catalog is no surprise to some, it’s amazing to think back on how far they’ve come in just 13 short years.
Beginning by playing backyards in the DMV and surrounding area, to eventually opening for groups like Badfish, to now headlining festivals like California Roots and Reggae Rise Up, Bumpin Uglies is continuing to blossom and find more and more fans of their infectious, upbeat, and crowd-pleasing sound.
And now, Bumpin Uglies has a new single right in time for their upcoming tour, which was rescheduled due to COVID-19. “Right & Clever” is Bumpin Uglies at their very best – singing a positive message with a backdrop of fun ska beats and an incredibly versatile horn section.

Linc Bradham is an American multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, audio engineer, and songwriter originally from Savannah, GA. He has resided in the DMV for the last three years and has served in the active-duty Army for the last 12 years. He is in the process of switching Army careers into the Army Field Band as an audio engineering professional, with long-term goals of promoting music education in America and the Middle East.
