The Alchemist
Calvyn Cass is a Vancouver based singer/songwriter that recently debuted his first single, “Me, Myself and I.” He was actually born in South Africa, and as he traveled the world he gained many unique experiences that has inspired him to write songs. He says, “The human connection reveals so much about how a person experiences love, loss and everything in between my goal is to try to write songs that anyone would be able to identify with at any age. Sometimes the beauty is in the sadness.”
He recently followed up on his first single with his newest release, “White Flag.” The track features a very catchy synth-based lead line. The synth is full of high frequencies that really stick out while also complementing his vocals. The song builds up into the hook, and once the hook drops, the song really comes together.
