Denver-based indie rock Wash Park swings into August with a new, upbeat single: “There’s Still Time.” Debuting with the single “My Best” this year, Wash Park is reaching new heights in their third single this year while taking inspiration from a classic decade for music: the 80’s.
Wash Park’s sole member, otherwise known as Keaton Dean, wrote, recorded, produced, and mixed the entire song in his bedroom studio in Denver, CO. The 22-year-old debuted this year with his solo project, and continues to tell stories and bring his own twists to the indie pop genre.
With cool vocals, light and airy synth sounds, and a magnetic electric guitar solo, the single combines the best of 80’s music and modern indie pop. The track itself encourages listeners to relax and slow down, because there will always be more time to discover who you are. There’s no rush, just enjoy what life has in store for you now.
