Go check out London-based band Glass Animals this week at Virginia Credit Union Live! Many may remember this band’s first big hit – the stealthily addictive “Gooey” – which became a platinum-certified viral streaming hit. The years since then have seen them gaining over 2 billion streams, going on late-night talk shows, and touring all around the world. Their newest album, “Dreamland”, was created as a memoir which asks and attempts to answer a series of questions about fundamental issues: identity, memory, love, friendship, the person you have been and the person you want to be. Frontman Dave Bayley’s brutal honesty through this music only endears the band to fans more, encouraging them to understand that it’s ok to feel lost and confused.
