When Jared Stout moved to Denver, Colorado to start his songwriting career in 2018, the Jared Stout Band was formed. After receiving an overwhelming amount of attention and support for his single “Home” from his home town of Roanoke, Virginia, he moved back home to gather the best musicians he could find to start a band.
Currently, The Jared Stout Band is on tour promoting their self-titled album throughout the Mid-Atlantic. This eight-track release holds songs that may remind the listeners of The Black Crowes, Counting Crows, Spin Doctors, and splashes of Luke Bryan and Jimmy Buffet, especially track number three, “Take Me Back.”
This song is perfect as summer quickly comes to a close. Reminiscent of the times of margaritas, long summer nights on the beach, love, and freedom, this song will have the audience missing past summers. With stellar vocals, fun and nostalgic lyrics, energetic percussion, and a rocking guitar solo, this tune will have you dancing around (on a beach would be nice) in no time!
