For former Washington D.C. area producer and DJ Valoramous, now residing in Germany, it isn’t enough to just produce music but to continuously and consistently push the boundaries of listeners’ expectations. Whether releasing original music or remixes, Valoramous is influenced by a variety of genres while seeking to find new and interesting ways to highlight those influences in the world of Electronic Dance Music (EDM).
His latest single, “Blow Up The Room (feat. Redd’s Dedd)” is Valoramous’ 21st single and represents Valoramous’ pivot to the Big Room genre as his center of gravity. Featuring the hype vocals of Redd’s Dedd, the duo thinks (rightly) of this track as a perfect fit for the high-energy environment of EDM festivals. With its thumping heartbeat kick drum, thick bass, and soaring synth melodies, it is a perfect track for elevating the spirit of the dance floor.
“Blow Up The Room” is the followup to Valoramous’ seven-track Remix EP Amnesia, featuring his original mix for “Amnesia” as well as six remixes highlighting Valoramous’ comprehensive knowledge and experience of his craft, and the versatility and strength of his original compositions.
Valoramous has experienced music and cultures in ways he may not have imagined while growing up in his native Texas. As a veteran in the U.S. military, he has traveled and lived abroad in numerous countries and continents where he developed a taste for EDM and Future Bass. These experiences continue to inspire Valoramous’ experimentation within the genre while provocating an emotive response. Our introduction to his music earlier this year with the release of “Something Real,” proved to us and to listeners around the world that Valoramous is more interested in creating a genuine and authentic experience for fans throughout his own creative journey.
