This leading track from Heather Maloney‘s latest EP Christmas Anyway, “Sing a Christmas Song Anyway” is a personal and relatable sentiment about the unique and unfamiliar feelings surrounding the upcoming holiday season. The usual concerns regarding travelling and crossing off the gift wish-list are compounded by the additional national and global state of affairs, but Maloney does an excellent job of keeping the listener focused on doing what we can with the resources in front of us and to keep hearts and minds on making memories with those we love: “It’s just not the same this year, but I’m still here so I will sing a Christmas song anyway.”
