Jack Waugh says, “I play music because it’s able to transcend societal barriers and take listeners, as well as myself, to a place of units and infinite consciousness.” He is an artist from Washington D.C. and has performed at venues at events such as the 9:30 Club, The Mid Atlantic Jazz Festival, DROM, Le chat Noir, Pianos among others.
His debut release, “Autobiography” just came out recently, and we are huge fans. The production is ominous at the beginning, as it invites the listener in to prepare for his vocals! Theirs a ton of emotion in his vocals, and you can tell what Jack Waugh means when he told us, “The song sends the listener imagery of memory, nostalgia, and unrest- making it an all too relatable anthem for it’s release during a global quarantine” As the world is slowly coming back to normal, check out this track and get excited for what comes next!
