The third single of 2022 by L.A.-based songwriter and producer, “KISSING ON A BALCONY” is a passionate love song available now on all major platforms and an official music video available on YouTube.
“KISSING ON A BALCONY” follows the release of the dreamy electro-pop track (and music video), “Nobody Listens to Me!” These very different productions give listeners some insight into the breadth of Franciso Martin’s influences and ability to produce and perform very different kinds of tracks; capturing and conveying vastly different emotional experiences. Whereas “Nobody Listens to Me!” has an angrier, edgier, pop-punk meets club kind of vibe, “KISSING ON A BALCONY” is an uplifting celebration of life and love; a worship song in a sense. The music video for the track highlights a world of colorful and vibrant beauty when the couple is together and somber darkness when they are apart.
“It was the first video we filmed for the EP, so we wanted to have fun with it.” Martin recalls. “Even though it’s more of a playful straight-forward video, pay attention to some easter eggs that builds a bigger concept that ties to the rest of the EP.”
Placing in the Top 5 of Season 18 of American Idol, Martin has continued to grow a steady following while his transformation experiences through music since being thrust into the public eye. Joined by his good friend Nick Sarpa, together they would co-produce Martin’s forthcoming EP ‘Manic,’ slated for release on July 22.
“I am not afraid to share what is in my heart with brash honesty,” Francisco says. “I want to push boundaries. People see one version of me, and I want them to see all of me. I am ready to come out of my shell as an artist and show who I really am as a person.”
