She Is Jules’ latest track ‘twice’ is a bittersweet pop ballad, releasing on her upcoming album, Synesthesia, representing the color blue.
Indie-pop artist/songwriter Julianna Isabella Pollifrone, or “She Is Jules,” was born and raised in the small mountain town of Los Gatos in Northern California. She developed a passion for poetry and “her words came alive when she was given an acoustic guitar for Christmas at 8 years old, melding her expression of writing with music.”
She Is Jules released her first song in 2015 at just 17 years old. Her vibe shifted from acoustic to electronic music after being influenced by artists like Taylor Swift, Lorde, and Imagine Dragons.
With an ethereal ambient pop backing, her latest single ‘twice’ is full of heart. The lyrics explore a broken relationship, where one side betrays the other over and over. “Twice is far too many times,” she sings. Musically, the song is cool, creating a sparking soundscape that encapsulates the listener.
