Go see The Aftershakes this weekend at the Epicure Cafe! A band that spent a decade in the making, The Aftershakes first unleashed their sound on the DMV music scene in 2019. Charlie Maybee and Zach Fletcher first became friends in high school and developed a strong bond through music. After years of performing together in various music projects, Charlie conceptualized a more raucous outfit inspired by the punch and grit of Zach’s vocals. With the addition of Charlie’s longtime friends, Anthony Inglimo on drums and Massimo Zaru-Roque on bass, the band found an electric and intoxicating drive as they began writing original songs.
