What better way to kick off your weekend than an EP Release Party with The Infinite Daisy Chains at Comet Ping Pong? This DMV-based indie dream pop project is aiming to release music that stands the test of time, inspiring those who hear with all of the love and hope that emanate from their music. Their love of various musical instruments has lent itself to their unique blend of meditative, downtempo electronic music and high-energy psychedelic pop. Their debut EP “Wake Up/Melting into You” was released in June 2020, and was quickly followed by dream pop single “Memory Lane” in August 2020 as well as “Moreno Beach Club” in September 2020. Now they’re ready with their newest EP, and they want everyone to join the release party! In fact, Kristina of The Infinite Daisy Chains offered a special message just for you:
“We are so excited to finally play our debut show and celebrate our EP dropping on the same day! We have special performers joining us in our set including Ben Tufts (percussionist and drummer) and Jess GeeOh (saxophonist in Les Femmes).
To make the night extra special, we have decided to donate 100% of our merch proceeds from the gig to Artemis House, an emergency domestic violence shelter in Fairfax County. We are doing this in light of October being Domestic Violence Awareness month.”
