The JMU Overtones at Jammin Java
Anyone who has seen Pitch Perfect has fallen in love with the world of acapella music. Anyone who hasn’t seen it – well, it’s time for you to fall in love with it too. This week, The JMU Overtones are coming to Jammin Java to show us all what acapella is really all about, and it’s going to be an absolute blast. Founded in 1997, JMU’s premiere co-ed acapella group has released 10 studio albums and are working on their 11th this year! They’ve won multiple awards throughout their years including recognition from BOCA and Voices Only, as well as widespread acclaim for their music video of “Say Love”. This group has an amazing legacy to protect, and there’s no doubt that they live up to the hype. Make sure to catch them this week while you have the chance!
