Musician and activist Nazar, who makes “music of the world, for the world”, has released his new single “Voodoo” from his forthcoming album A / B Test, along with a brand-new music video he generated using AI.
This energetic, alternative rock, guitar-led track contains upbeat riffs and rhythm, and catchy lyrics and imagery. It also showcases Nazar’s vocal talent, reminding us of Alex Vans & The Hideaway. “I’m on fire / I’m a 7-army nation / And I require / Just a little information,” he opens. The chorus is straightforward: “I’m not cracking up (Cuckoo) / I’m not showing up / I’m all out of love / Voodoo”. Nazar guides the listener through a journey: “Put your faith in me,” he sings.
The lyric video is a fitting companion to the song as it matches its mood, depicting images of various nature and city skylines, beginning (and ending) with New York and its Statue of Liberty.
